When I was little, my dad would play this song on guitar for me, and, being the daddy's girl I was, I thought my dad wrote it!!! Until, a couple years ago when I told him "I can't believe you wrote that, Dad!" That's when, finally, I discovered Dylan. :)

actually claytonave a couple years after dylan wrote this rod stewart wrote a song with the same name and many of the same lyrics and bob dylan took him 2 court and stewart was forced 2 share the royalties with dylan so it kinda is his song

Rod Stewert's version uses the same melody and many of the same lyrics. He also has to share royalties with Dylan for the song because of it.
